untuk setting account di mozilla yaitu :
1. Buka Mozilla Thunderbird
2. Klik menu Tool kemudian klik account setting
3. KLik add Account
4. Centang email account next
5. Tulis nama kamu
Tulis alamat e-mail kamu lengkap Next
6. Masukan alamat pop (pop.mail.yahoo.com.sg)
Masukkan alamat smtp (smtp.mail.yahoo.com.sg)
catatan : untuk gmail anda tidak perlu repot-repot men-setup settingan POP3 dan SMTP Gmail anda tersebut karena Mozilla Thunderbird telah menyediakan settingannya, jadi kalian cukup memasukan nama kalian, username, dan tentu saja password account Gmail kalian tersebut.
7. Masukan nama incoming dan outgoing ( terserah anda )

Virus Sandra Dewi menyebar melalui USB flash dengan mengaktifkan file bernama Sandra Dewi Bugil.exe. Virus ini tak merusak, tetapi sangat mengganggu karena akan mematikan sejumlah fungsi Windows dan melakukan shut down berulang-ulang.
Berikut 7 langkah manual membersihkan virus Sandra Dewi:
1. Sebaiknya putuskan hubungan komputer yang akan dibersihkan dari jaringan.
2. Matikan "System Restore" selama proses pembersihan virus (untuk Windows XP/Vista)
3. Matikan proses virus yang aktif di memory. Gunakan tools pengganti task manager, seperti Process Explorer yang dapat anda download pada alamat berikuthttp://www.sysinternals.com/utils/index.html
- C:-WINDOWS- Sandra Dewi Bugil.exe
5. Hapus string registry yang telah dibuat oleh virus. Untuk mempermudah dapat menggunakan script registry di bawah ini.Gunakan notepad, kemudian simpan dengan nama “repair.inf” (gunakan pilihan Save As Type menjadi All Files agar tidak terjadi kesalahan). Jalankan repair.inf dengan klik pada menu File pada windows explorer, kemudian pilih install. Sebaiknya membuat file repair.inf di komputer yang clean, agar virus tidak aktif kembali.
6. Hapus saja file-file virus yang mempunyai ciri-ciri sebagai berikut :
-Icon gambar (JPEG Image)
- Extension exe
- Ukuran 132 KB
Sebagai Catatan :
- Sebaiknya tampilkan file yang tersembunyi agar mempermudah dalam proses pencarian file virus.
- Untuk mempermudah proses pencarian sebaiknya gunakan "Search Windows" dengan filter file *.exe yang mempunyai ukuran 132 KB.
- Hapus file virus yang biasanya mempunyai date modified yang sama.
7. Untuk pembersihan yang optimal dan mencegah infeksi ulang, sebaiknya menggunakan
antivirus yang ter-update dan mengenali virus ini dengan baik. Anda dapat pula
menggunakan tools Norman Malware Cleaner yang dapat anda download pada

Sebelum Flash disk di ciptakan, kita sering menyimpan file atau data pada media disket. walaupun sampai sekarang masih tetapi sudah jarang sekali yang pakai. alasannya media penyimpanannya kurang besar dan mudah di gunakan.
Supaya Flash disk tetap terjaga dan bisa bekerja dengan baik ada beberapa hal yang perlu di perhatikan, diantaranya :
1. HINDARKAN DARI PENGARUH MEDAN MAGNET YANG KUAT
Tempat yang mudah terjangkau yang biasanya kita gunakan untuk meletakkan benda-benda kecil diantaranya di atas TV, sebaiknya anda tidak melakukan ini pada Flash disk anda. begitu juga dengan Handphone sangat tidak baik untuk flash disk usahakan flash disk tidak di simpan dalam saku yang sama atau dalam tas.
2. JANGAN TERKENA AIR
walaupun ada beberapa merk yang mengklaim waterproof, menjauhkan flash disk dari sentuhan air tetap saja menjadi langkah yang paling aman dari pada data hilang luntur di telan air.
3. Virus Scan
saat pengambilan atau pemindahan data dari PC ke flash disk lakukan terlebih dulu scan dengan antivirus.
4. Proses Eject atau Stop
lakukan selalu proses eject atau stop sebelum mencabut flash disk.
5. Jauhkan Dari Tempat Panas
semua barang elektronik tak terkecuali flash disk sangat rentang dengan yang namanya panas, apalagi terkena sinar matahari langsung.
6. Hindarkan Benturan Keras
jaga flash disk anda jangan sampai sering jatuh atau terbentur benda keras.
7. Tutuplah Selalu
Udara dan lingkungan kita penuh dengan debu dan kotoran, jika socket flash disk kita kotor maka dapat mengakibatkan proses baca tulis sering gagal, makanya harus selalu tertutup.
8. Minimalisir Proses Hapus-Tulis
sekuat apapun benda pasti akan rusak seiiring usia dan frekuensi penggunaan termasuk juga flash disk. usia flash disk berbeda-beda tergantung kualitas dan merk dari flash disk tersebut. usianya biasanya antara 10.000-100.000 kali proses hapus tulis
ini adalah komfigurasi atau cara kalau anda ingin email gmail anda di baca lewat outlook.
SETTING OUTLOOK UNTUK GMAIL
1. Aktifkan settingan POP di Gmail anda
2. Buka Outlook express
3. Isi incoming mail dengan : pop.gmail.com
4. Isi outgoing mail dengan : smtp.gmail.com
5. Isi account name dengan alamat email lengkap dengan @gmail.com contoh : xxx@gmail.com
6. Klik Tool > Accounts > Mail. Pilih Account anda lalu klik Properties
7. Pilih Bagian Advanced
8. Isi Kolom Outgoing (SMTP) = 465 dan checklist "This srver (SSL)"
9. Isi kolom incoming (POP3) = 995 dan checklist "This server (SSL)"
10. Pilih Account yang baru saja anda buat, lalu klik properties. Pilih tab 'Servers' dan checklist bagian 'My server requires authentication'
11. klik OK. (Selesai)
Selamat mencoba mudah-mudahan dapat membantu
Hampir semua orang menyimpan datanya didalam folder My Documents. Folder ini memang folder standard dari komputer untuk menyimpan berbagai dokumen kita. Ada satu tips agar kita dapat menyelamatkan data-data yang ada didalam folder My Documents ini, sehingga hilangnya data dapat kita hindari sedini mungkin.
Perlu diketahui bahwa letak ‘folder asli’ dari My Documents ini ada didalam C:\Documents and Settings\Nama User\My Documents. Anda bisa mengeceknya melalui klik kanan pada folder My Documents lalu pilih Properties. Perhatikan pada kotak Target Folder Location, disitulah sebenarnya data My Documents itu disimpan.
Menyimpan data di lokasi tersebut sebenarnya kurang aman, mengapa?. Jika suatu saat komputer kita error (tidak bisa masuk ke Windows misalnya) sehingga tidak ada jalan lain untuk membetulkan komputer kita kecuali dengan memformat Windows, maka susah bagi kita untuk menyelamatkan data My Documents tersebut karena letaknya ada di C, dan begitu melakukan format Windows maka secara otomatis seluruh data yang ada di My Documents ‘akan terhapus’. Memformat Windows sama saja dengan menghapus ’seluruh data’ yang ada di drive / partisi C.
Memang masih bisa untuk diselamatkan, antara lain dengan mengkopi folder My Documents tersebut ke drive lain (seperti drive D, E dsb) melalui DOS, atau memindahkannya melalui kopi hardisk (hardisk kita dipasang di komputer orang lain), namun cara-cara diatas cukup merepotkan bagi kita. Ada satu trik agar kita dapat menyelamatkan data di My Documents yakni dengan memindahkan target dari letak My Documents tersebut ke partisi lain, misalkan D, E dsb.
Caranya cukup mudah, yakni:
- Klik kanan pada Start lalu pilih Explore
- Pada partisi / drive selain C (misalkan di drive / partisi D), buat folder baru dengan nama Dataku (atau nama lain sesuka anda)
- Klik kanan pada folder My Documents lalu pilih Properties
- Klik tombol Move…. Pada kotak yang muncul, cari folder yang anda buat tadi. Jika sudah, klik OK - OK. Pada kotak yg muncul, klik Yes.
Anda bisa cek:
Isi folder My Documents = Isi folder Dataku (pada drive / partisi D)
Dengan demikian, jika suatu saat komputer anda error sehingga harus di format Windows, maka seluruh data My Document akan selamat sebab tidak lagi disimpan di drive C, melainkan sudah dipindahkan ke drive D.
Hal ini sangat penting dilakukan mengingat banyak orang yang kehilangan datanya yang berada di My Documents sewaktu dilakukan format Windows. Jika tips ini anda lakukan, maka kejadian seperti tadi tidak akan menimpa pada anda.
Keterangan :
-Format Windows adalah proses untuk menginstal ulang Windows, dengan kata lain Windows anda diganti dengan yang baru ’secara total’
- Drive / Partisi adalah pembagian lokasi hardisk untuk penyimpanan data di komputer. Jika anda membuka Windows Explorer maka biasanya akan terlihat tulisan (C), (D), (E) dan sebagainya. Bagian-bagian tersebut berguna untuk ‘membagi-bagi’ lokasi penyimpanan data kita. Kecuali drive / partisi untuk CD-ROM/DVD-ROM, drive / partisi ini tidak berfungsi untuk menyimpan data tapi berfungsi untuk membaca kepingan CD / DVD.
